Meet the Instructors:
The camp directors specifically designed the Camp of Champions to prepare twirlers for competition, the football field, and show performances.
The camp will teach all phases of baton twirling and dance, from novice through advanced levels.
Camp instructors will prepare students for upcoming national competitions and develop routines for majorette lines and feature twirlers.

Kathy ForsytheSeattle, Washington
Former feature twirler at the University of Washington and trains twirlers for both high school and college. Coaches and judges throughout the United States. Athletes she trains, are state and national champions, also represent at the U.S. World Championships for both NBTA and USTA Certified USTA coach and teacher. Has trained state, regional, and national champions in addition to athletes for the USTA World Team. Melinda WhiteSan Antonio, Texas
Director of Texas Gems. Former East Carolina University feature twirler. College Miss Majorette of America Pageant, top five for 4 consecutive years. Baton twirling Ambassador to Peru. NBTA teacher and judge. Sheri CarterAustin, Texas
34 years of experience as a judge for the National and international level. Achomplished High School coach and teacher of not only in the classroom, but in many athletic events. Has served 6 consecutive years as a Judge for the U.S. Trials. Has taught at many camps over the years for all levels of twirlers. She has judged over 500 State, Regional, and National Championships. Sheri will be judging at the Canadian nationals and World Championships in Sweeden this year. She has a keen eye for detail and unique tricks and is excellent in multiple baton. Meredith Winnefeld Current Miss Colorado, National Strut Champion, Dance instructor National Rhythmic Champion, ASU Feature Twirler, ASU Dance Major, 2nd place in National Collegiate Champions. This will be her first year at the camp.

Currently on the UTSA twirling line Competed at the 2015 Worlds competition where he won 2nd in Solo, 3rd in 2-baton, and top 6 in Rhythmic! Winner of 4 state and regional Men Solo titles. USTA & NBTA Men's Solo Champion Rebecca LantzHer twirling career Rebecca has won Tiny Tot, Juvenile, Preteen, Teenage and College Miss Majorette of America, Competed in 5 different World Championships for NBTA and is The Feature Twirler of Arizona State University, majoring in economics with a minor in Family Development.

Private lessons:
Lessons will be offered by staff members. Limited time slots are available on a first come basis. Instructor fees are $50 an hour and a $5 gym fee. Private lessons fees are paid to the instructor that you have requested. If you wait to pay the day of private lesson, it is recommended that you pay in cash – our instructors are traveling and teaching in other states. If you wish to have a lesson with one of our outstanding staff members – list the instructors name when you send in your Registration and Payment Form.
